Have you v**ed in the past year? George Mason University researchers want to hear about your experiences.

**LGBT Life Center is not affiliated with this study. We’re sharing it as an opportunity to participate. Please direct any questions to the research team.**

You may be eligible if you:
• Are 16–24 years old
• Identify as LGBTQ+ or a racial minority
• Currently v**e or have used e-cigarettes/v**es in the past 12 months
• Live in the United States and speak English

Participation involves a 60–90-minute Zoom interview, with a $50 incentive for completing it.

💜 Today, we're going purple for a purpose!

October 15 is , a global movement led by GLAAD to take a stand against bullying and show support for LGBTQ+ youth.

Every young person deserves to feel safe being themselves, whether that's at home, at school, online, or in their community.

At LGBT Life Center, we believe that everyone deserves to live with dignity, joy, and the freedom to be their authentic selves. That includes the next generation of LGBTQ+ youth. Today, we encourage our Hampton Roads community to wear purple, speak up against bullying, and show LGBTQ+ young people that they are seen, valued, and supported.

🔺 A symbol once used to shame is now worn with pride.

The pink triangle has a powerful and painful history, beginning with the persecution of gay men during the Holocaust and later becoming a symbol of LGBTQ+ liberation and resistance.

From the gay liberation movement to the AIDS activism of the 1980s, our community reclaimed the triangle to honor those who came before us and demand a better future. Knowing our history helps us understand the strength behind our symbols. 🩷

Reclaiming Safety & Self is a monthly conversation at LGBT Life Center about intimate partner violence, relationships, and healing in LGBTQIA+ communities.

Whether you’ve experienced abuse in a relationship, are worried about someone you love, or want to better support others, you’re welcome here.

We’ll talk about:
