Hello there TRUE BELIEVERS! Welcome Back to another school year and another opportunity to become the SUPERHEROES of the future! And to help motivate you along, the E.C.A.C.INC SUPERHEROES has a little assignment for you- and for participating YOU may win a prize, hand delivered to you from none other than CAPTAIN AMERICA & BLACK WIDOW-LIVE IN PERSON!

All you need to do is enter the E.C.A.C.INC'S SUPERHERO ESSAY CONTEST by writing us a short essay/paragraph and answering in your own words, one question:

What is the difference between a SUPERHERO, A SUPERVILLAIN AND AN ANTI-HERO?!

The rules are simple:
1. This contest is for kids 12 and under, however adults are encouraged to help. The child can get help from any source they choose-parents, Google, dictionary... but the child must put the essay in their own words! Copy and pastes or the like do not count!

2. For 4 weeks...Beggining Aug. 24th 2026, You have from Monday to Sunday to submit your essay...New winners will be announced on Monday's. The best Essay wins.

3. You must be a E.C.A.C.INC'S FB follower or private group page member and you may submit your entry via, Fb messenger or post in the E.C.A.C.INC private group page at anytime 1per person, per week. We will review the final entry every Sunday and announce a winner and a runner up on the following monday. The E.C.A.C.INC reserves the right to make any & all final decisions/Judgements.

With the current state of comic books, cartoons and SUPERHERO MOVIES, the E.C.A.C.INC feels it is our duty to ensure the integrity of SUPERHEROES as Role-models remain intact and that the line between moral ambiguity
and RIGHTEOUSNESS is unequivocal. Therefore this contest is designed to help kids learn the difference between these 3 important base archetypes of comic book characters. We hope that parents will discuss these matters with their children and allow them to ask questions about things they may learn from watching the popular morally ambiguous heroes of today.

Hey there TRUE BELIEVERS! Join us next week as TIDEWATER'S premier SUPERHERO NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION- The East Coast Alliance of Cosplayers joins forces with Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters (CHKD) for another bout of SUPERHERO SUPPORT for the 20th annual CHKD RunWalk for the Kids ! We'd like to thank our fellow NPO CHKD and a special thanks to Mrs Jenny Kay for all her support and invites to participate in such a huge, worthy cause over the years! We wish you all great success in all your future endeavors and EXCELSIOR!!

With one week to go till the ANNUAL CHKD RunWalk for the Kids event, as a fellow 501C3 NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, The East Coast Alliance of Cosplayers is ready to activate another of our biggest community initiatives: The E.C.A.C.INC SUPERHERO SUPPORT PROGRAM!

As you may know the E.C.A.C.INC'S mission is to provide children and young adults the positive role models that only SUPERHEROES can bring, hence our motto- "We make make believe, BELIEVABLE!" And as part of that mission we donate our time and resources free of charge, to other worthy causes and NPO'S who's charitable works immeasurably benefit our communities as a whole. So if you or someone are a 501c3 non-profit organization or the Director/Organizer of a free Community event that you think could benefit from the E.C.A.C.INC. Everybody knows a SUPERHEROES job is to help those in need, and that's what the E.C.A.C.INC'S SUPERHERO SUPPORT PROGRAM is all about- helping our fellow nonprofits and other charitable institutions reach their goals so that they can fulfill their various missions and help make this world a better place for us all! That's why we've supported our friends at the CHKD RunWalk for the Kids every year, for the last 8 years!
We hope you'll all join us next Saturday August 22, 2026 for a day of family friendly fun, good food and great music while you help support a SUPER cause! And by the way, don't forget to say hi to CAPTAIN AMERICA & BLACK WIDOW and grab a pic!

HI THERE TRUE BELIEVERS! The 2026-2027 school year is starting soon and we want to inspire the children to be SUPER all year long, just like their favorite SUPERHEROES!
So once again its time for the E.C.A.C.INC ANNUAL BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE!
Now until September 8th, 2026 we'll be collecting donations to purchase new, SUPERHERO themed school supplies for qualifying families in need. We'll also be HAND DELIVERING these items to give your children a chance to meet CAPTAIN AMERICA & BLACK WIDOW live in person for a little added incentive to excel in school this year!
