Hunters Moon False Cape, Year of the Snake. There is a joy in bringing everything you need for the weekend on your bike. Although False Cape is just around the corner from NFK, something about taking that ride to NC under the (almost) full moon makes you feel like you’re on another planet. Even if I was sick as a dog this year, I’ll be looking back at this trip smiling thinking about the double frisbee, that sunset dock, that moonlight bike ride, spoons, snakes, & the best souls chefs any camping trip could ask for.
