Well we have been there and the Cutlass cares. We will be open from 0800 to 1100. We gotchu Fam.

*** Update ***

Huge thanks to NAVFAC. The burst pipe has been replaced and opchecked 4.0.

NAVFAC will also be assisting with the ceiling tiles.

This Friday we would love any help from our Brothers and Sisters with the below items so we can reopen after the damages.

• Cleaning out the cooler so we can restock beer (power outage and we have priorities lol)
• Deep Clean of the dart and cigar room since they got the brunt of the water damage.
• If someone has a floor sander or possibly has a side job. We are looking at resending the wood floor since the water damage warped it pretty bad.
• Taping the roof to prevent further water damage while we wait on NAVFAC for our roof repair. Again NAVFAC is killing it!
• Sanding the doors to the Dart and Cigar rooms so we can shut them again. They currently don’t shut due to water damage.

Building rehab will be this Friday, May 15, 2026

From 11-16, but if we have to stay a smidge later to get this done we will.

We definitely would love and appreciate all the help we can get!

To keep all informed.
We had an executive meeting today and here are some bullets on what was discussed.
-On monday we had a pipe rupture above the dart room area causing part of ceiling tiles to be removed, power shut off to half the building, and floor damage causing club to be shut down today
- Parts are on hand and repairs should begin on monday morning. Shout out to NAVFAC for their assistance.
-Heritage room is unaffected and is still open for business
- Reaching out to see if anyone has a floor sander to help with repairs to water damaged floor.
-Repairs pending, next friday 15May our plan is to have a soft opening/ field day to get the place back in order, deep clean and make the place presentable for upcoming CPO season and we are needing support.
-22May we are planning on having a grand Reopening and grill out.

The Cutlass is secured until further notice.

Brothers and sisters,

On Monday, our brother and new treasurer John heard the fire alarm going off at the Cutlass and investigated. It turned out the sprinkler system sprung a leak causing the alarm system to go off. He called the fire marshal and they were able to turn off the water to the system.

The system dumped a lot of water all over the cigar and dart room so power has been secured since Monday to let it dry out and prevent a fire due to water on electrical cabling.

Navfac has been amazing and helping to replace the system.

John, AJ, and Jeffrey have also been amazing at helping to let NAVFAC in to do the work.

The wood floors got affected and we are waiting to see how bad once all the humidity is gone.

The Cutlass is secured until further notice.
