Come join Urban League Young Professionals at Freemason Baptist Church for Garden Club! We will be discussing plans for our bed, food accessibility, and where to get free seeds. provides a wonderful green space in downtown Norfolk, and welcomes gardeners of all experience and backgrounds, while providing education and resources for the local community by donating both produce and providing donation based garden beds for community members.

We hope that this opportunity will open up the conversation on healthy food accessibility within the downtown Norfolk area and how can YPs bring more sustainable options to the downtown Norfolk residents/area.

Last week YPs had the wonderful opportunity to attend Purpose and Presence year end celebratory dinner. While connecting with community and friends there were multiple performances music and poetry. TWP truly takes on the element of feeding community through Mind, Body, & Soul. With fresh greens from the garden (grown by the teens themselves) soulful collard greens and refreshing salad was served at dinner. And a massive thank you to the safe passages team that has not only expanded their team but has also assisted over 200,000 families and children with violence prevention and intervention. This experience was truly inspiring and we look forward to seeing them continue to positively impact and protect the community 🧡🧡🧡
