FFSC Norfolk is hosting a Government Shutdown Resource Assistance Center on Thursday, November 13th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This event will feature various community partners including NMCRS, Military One Source, USO and more. At 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM there will be Financial and Employment Resource Brief. It''s a great opportunity to connect with valuable resources to support you during the government shutdown.

The VA Aquarium has partnered with the USO and is giving away FREE tickets to military service members and their dependents.

In order to be considered for receiving tickets, please read the following guidelines:

‼️If you registered for tickets in the spring whether you picked up or not we ask that you do not register again to allow others the opportunity to register for the tickets

+ Tickets are for Active Duty and dependents with DoD ID ONLY
+When registering use personal email and not military
+ Tickets are limited to 5 tickets per family (parent email may be used for children)
+ Children 4 & under do not require ticket for entry (no need to register them)
+ Tickets must be picked up during the distribution window at your locals below
+ Military ID is required to pick up tickets and to be shown when entering the Aquarium
+ Tickets are single day admission and are valid thru November 15, 2025
