We will be one step closer to having finished curling ice after we install the lines tonight. If you have ever wondered how we do it, we could use some steady hands to help tonight at 6 p.m. No experience needed, just dress warm and bring gloves and your curling shoes.

🥌 HELP WANTED TODAY AT 2 PM!

We're looking for a few volunteers to help paint the houses at the Norfolk Curling Club!

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! If you mastered paint-by-numbers back in elementary school or enjoyed watching Bob Ross on PBS, you're already overqualified for this job.
Many hands make quick work, so come on down at 2 PM and help us get closer to finishing the ice!
Remember: Stay inside the lines. We're making curling ice, not abstract art!
P.S. The football game will be projected on the big wall so you have no excuse to miss out on this fun!

Norfolk Curling Club 2026-27 season starts Oct 18th! Yes, there’s curling even in seasons without Olympics, as there has been for over 500 years - and approaching 71 years in Norfolk!

It was recently announced that long-time Norfolk Curling Club member Karen Linden passed away at her home here in Norfolk surrounded by her family. She and her husband, Coke, were active members through the 1990's and 2000's and she was responsible for many of the artistic touches both in the old and new building. The entire membership offers their condolences to her family.

Congrats to our ice tech volunteers on winning the 3rd event at the inaugural Ice Technician Bonspiel held at the Utica Curling Club this past weekend. In addition to curling, they were able to try out new scrapers, meet the folks from various curling companies like Jet Ice and Canada Curling Stone and meet fellow ice makers from area clubs. Jonathan Barbagallo even showed a presentation on his experience in making ice for the movie, The Roaring Game.

While we pulled the plug on the chiller unit and our curling season last week, we had to wait until Sunday afternoon for help from our friends at the Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department to wash down the rink and get it set for the summer. In 1 hour we went from a soupy white, red, and blue mess to bare concrete. Thanks to all the club and FD volunteers who grabbed a hose and squeegee!
