tHRive Young Professionals of the Hampton Roads Chamber tHRive is a regional young professional’s program of the Hampton Roads Chamber.

It began with a small group of diverse young professionals all driven to provide a platform to promote regional awareness and community development by empowering young professionals to have a voice and invest in the future of our region. tHRive has numerous signature events throughout the year and various monthly events spread across the region. tHRive and VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads are teaming up to help young professionals build the knowledge, confidence, and connections to make an impact through nonprofit board service.

We'll start at Bloom Coworking for Board 101 presented by Tage Counts, President & CEO of VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads, who will break down the fundamentals of board service and what it takes to serve effectively.

Then, hear from Hope Sinclair, CEO of Communities In Schools of Hampton Roads, and Lauren Bland, Executive Director of the North American Sand Soccer Championship, as they share their experiences, lessons learned, and perspectives on nonprofit leadership.

Afterward, we’ll head right next door to Post Secondary Brewing for Networking with the Nonprofits. This is your chance to meet local nonprofit leaders and explore ways to get involved!

Last night, the tHRive Board of Directors gathered to celebrate Emma Royce and thank her for the incredible impact she's made on our organization.

Over the past three years, Emma has been a dedicated member of the tHRive community, and this year, she has served as Vice Chair of our Board of Directors. Her leadership, passion, and commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for young professionals have helped shape tHRive into what it is today.

As she begins an exciting new chapter in Arizona, we want to thank her for everything she's contributed to our organization and the Hampton Roads community. Emma, you'll always be a part of the tHRive family, and we can't wait to see all that you accomplish next.
