$50,000 FOR LOCAL CANCER FIGHTERS 💗

Today, Paint Pink, Inc. was honored to present Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center with a $50,000 endowment to help local cancer fighters with the expenses that insurance doesn’t cover.

The Paint Pink Cancer Support Fund in Memory of Kim Keene, helps with everything from transportation and meals to other essential needs, these funds will help ease the financial burden that can come with a cancer diagnosis—so patients can focus on what matters most: fighting, healing, and hope.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supports Paint Pink and makes moments like this possible. Together, we are making a difference right here in our community.

🎉 BOARD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: ELIZABETH COKER 🎉

Today we’re celebrating our wonderful Secretary, Elizabeth Coker, on her birthday! 💗

Elizabeth was once a neighbor of our founder Kim and quickly became friends. They shared many beautiful morning paddleboarding adventures. 🌊

An elementary school principal in Chesapeake, Elizabeth is passionate about her work and equally passionate about seeing the world. ✈️ Fun fact: in 2025 alone, she traveled to New Zealand, Portugal AND Alaska!

Elizabeth has always been a volunteer and supporter of Kim’s mission, but after Kim passed, she wanted to become an even bigger part of carrying that mission forward. Having seen firsthand how cancer can impact families financially, she believes deeply in our mission to lift even a small part of that burden and bring peace to those navigating a cancer journey.

We are so grateful to have Elizabeth helping carry Kim’s heart and mission forward and live these photos of the two of them. 💗
