This year's Summer Homies Festival just got a MAJOR upgrade — and we're super excited to share it!

For our 5th Annual Festival on Sunday, June 28th, we are bringing TWO powerhouse new partners to the party — and together, we are giving Norfolk MORE than ever before. 👇🏾

⚡️💛 is bringing their celebrated Bright Sparks Live panel — LIVE from our Main Stage! Bright Sparks Live is a conversation series that brings community leaders, change-makers, and real voices together to do one thing: build systems that create self-sufficiency for underserved and often overlooked communities—evening the odds!- Moderated by the brilliant team at Yellow! This isn't just a panel — it's a spark. Stay tuned for the line up!

🎨💜 is pulling up with Family Link Up — an interactive experience where art meets family skill-building in the best way possible. Think creativity, connection, skill-development, and community — all in one space designed for access by EVERYONE.

We started this festival with LOVE. Five years later, love is showing up in bigger rooms, with bigger partners, and bigger possibilities for Norfolk. And we are just getting started. 🙌🏾

Volunteer registration is almost full but our donation bins could still use some love! We are current accepting toiletries and college dorm supplies in preparation for the festival! We’re resourcing the unhoused and first-generation college students at Summer Homies and we need your help! Don’t know what kinds of items to donate? No worries, we got you! 👇🏽

Volunteer registration is open!

The Virginian Pilot dubbed Summer Homies the “Super Bowl of Community Resources” and this year we plan to earn that title all over again! But we need your help to do it! Here’s how:

❤️ Sign Up to Volunteer (spots are limited and only the first 100 will receive a free festival tee!)

❤️ Donate gently used summer clothes, toiletries or college dorm supplies

❤️ Sponsor a Homie for $20

❤️ Invite a Homie, Neighbor, or Friend that you know needs access to resources and community connection!

Love Grows Here wasn't just the name of our kick-off Garden Conversation — it was the blueprint. The House Party delivered everything we needed: donors, dreamers, doers, and dirt-ready Homies.
