Jo Ann Koepke's Peace Arts

Jo Ann Koepke's Peace Arts We will be using art to help children, disabled persons, and the elderly be included in Peace Work.

11/18/2022

Today we are starting fresh in our work to help ChildFund International and the small community of Pierce Nebraska create a world that is safe for children, persons with disabilities, and the elderly. The photo of the person with my kitty Becca Jasmine is also my physician, Dr. Lane Handke. But most of all he is my friend and he is the friend of little Becca Jasmine. Children, persons with disabilities, and the elderly are much like cats and little kitties we all learn to trust by being treated like valuable living beings. Sadly, during wartime, children, disabled persons, the elderly, and cats and kitties are the most vulnerable of our loving God's creation.
We will be using art to portray how we can promote trust, love, and compassion to not just the strong but to those who do need help to live. The art will also be humans showing love toward cats and kitties. And we will be using Lane as a role model to do this. Lane treats all of his patients as his friends, including kitties. And the friendship he offers is based on 100 percent trust. Soon we will have a FASO artist website with art depicting what the world could be like if the very word friendship meant 100 percent trust.
The FASO artist website probably will not be up until January 2023. This is because Jo Ann Koepke, the artist is having to be a 100 percent trustworthy friend to her dear sister, Judy, and her husband Jeff. Jeff has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Jo Ann will be having them in her home for a Thanksgiving dinner next week. The sadness in knowing that we are going to lose Jeff means it is even more important to work toward a world where we do not lose people we love due to hatred and the wars that hatred causes and that can only come if we relate to others like Lane relates to all his patients and to little kitties every day-with 100 percent trust.
To close I just ask all of you during this holiday season to see everyone to encounter in your daily lives as a valuable and precious human being just like you. And to also see a kitty as one of God's creations who can teach us how to love if we give it a try.

God bless all of you and have a blessed Thanksgiving day here in the United States. And we will be praying that everyone throughout the world can experience a blessed day.

Your friend Jo Ann Koepke, President and Founder of Jo Ann Koepke's Peace Arts.
