PLEF has received a very generous gift of $4000 from a benevolent party through the Innovia Foundation.

This grant allows us to continue to fulfill our mission of childhood literacy, providing free Preschool and Ready! For Kindergarten to the Priest Lake Community.

As many of you know, our annual fundraising event - Kidstock - was canceled last summer due to COVID. We hope that we will be able to resume this summer.

In the meantime, Priest Lake Education Foundation is still in need of donations. PLEF is a non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.

It is with deep sadness that Priest Lake Education Foundation, Inc. must announce that KIDSTOCK 2020 has been cancelled.

The future is what our foundation is all about, and at this uncertain time, the future remains unknown. It is our responsibility to keep our lake and community safe and hosting an event this large is not the responsible or right thing to do.

We cannot WAIT for KIDSTOCK 2021 and the joy that it will bring. In the meantime, our kids and our programs are not going anywhere, so donations are always appreciated!

The “READY! For Kindergarten” Program will still be hosting events throughout the year with excited facilitators who are passionate about learning and teaching and our free preschool will resume in the fall.

Together We Are Making a Difference!

PLEF held its first Kidstock July 2011 to meet a very specific funding need at Priest Lake Elementary. It was so successful that we decided to use the extra funds to start the Ready! For Kindergarten program at Priest Lake.

Prior to this, there were no early educational opportunities for the children of Priest Lake. Since then, we have funded Priest Lake Preschool in its entirety.

We are partnering with our local school district and its educators to promote excellence in education and facilitate broad-based community support for Priest Lake students, parents and teachers. Our goal is to provide funding for educational needs, that without our support, would not otherwise be met.
