It is a non-competitive day of scenic beauty, personal challenge, and fun for ALL women 18+. What started out as a small group of ladies getting together for a hike and lunch has grown to, at times, over 200 women and a wildly successful fundraiser for our school district. As a group of volunteers, we recognize the importance of the "total" learning experience that extends beyond the 3R's and our
goal through this fundraising event is to provide our children with enriching programs that compliment their traditional academics. Over the past 13 years, in addition to raising over $200,000, MOM's has received many awards that attest to its success: The Consortium of Education Foundation of California "Apple Award" for successful innovative school fundraiser, the Voices award, and a feature in O Magazine, honoring our event as one of only 100 special events community events across the nation. In recent years, we’ve added fun games and prizes to the mix, in addition to a silent auction, yoga, and massages. It's a great opportunity for women to get together and celebrate one another while contributing to a very worthy cause.
