National Donut Day was a sweet success!

The day offered a meaningful opportunity to celebrate a treasured Salvation Army tradition, which started on the front lines of WWI, while sharing donuts with local veterans and some of our generous donors.

Thank you to Donnie's Donuts for helping us provide a sweet treat to veterans in metro Atlanta! We are grateful for your support as we honored this special tradition and those who have served our country.

Each year on the first Friday in June, The Salvation Army celebrates National Donut Day, honoring the legacy of the Donut Lassies who served fresh donuts and comfort to soldiers during World War I. Since 1938, this tradition has been a reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a lasting impact. Today, we continue that spirit of service by sharing sweetness, gratitude, and community with those around us. 🍩❤️

Kettle Krush is almost here!

You can sign up in person before 2 p.m. on May 15 at Big Peach Running Co.. Registration fees are $45 for the 5K and $30 for the 1K & Tot Trot. Race Day registration will be open from 7:00–7:45 a.m. Race day fees are $50 for the 5K and $30 for the 1K & Tot Trot.

Can’t make it, but still want to support the cause? Register as a phantom participant and receive the event T-shirt for $40, or make a donation of any amount to help support the mission. ❤️
