Thanksgiving is around the corner again and a lot of us have already started making plans. We already have our expectations, including how good our Thanksgiving meal will be.

The Thanksgiving meal is so special for some of us that we'll not eat anything else that whole day while waiting for it. We don't want to fill ourselves up before the actual dinner is ready. We want that dinner so much with our family and friends that we're willing to wait for it.

Stop filling yourself up with all these relationships you know are not good for you and be strong enough to wait on the real deal. Waiting is hard, but settling for the wrong thing is harder.

You'll attract who you are not who you pray for. God will usually give you what you can handle with His grace and all. Most times when you're praying for a blessing, God starts working on you from the inside out to make you the kind of person who can handle that blessing, because a blessing you're not matured and ready for can easily seem as a curse.

Trust God to work on you through your singleness, to show you things you need to learn, and things you need to change. Once there's a will, there's a way.

"for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure."
