And the blessings keep coming in!

This past Sunday, our Bill Neal ladies upgraded home was celebrated by our three residents (and best friends): Jessica, Casey, and Shelton. Thanks to the efforts of a wonderful Sunday School class from our long-time partner, Smoke Rise Baptist Church, our Bill Neal Home was refreshed!

We feel incredibly blessed for this community and even had Bill Neal, our previous CEO/President whom the home is named after, come and enjoy the celebration.

This is what our Make it Home Initiative is all about! Upgrade and personalized living spaces and the hands coming together that make it happen.

Recently, we got together with DDM's Bill Neal Home ladies! Get ready to see their upgraded home, hear what's new in their lives, and of course, get a few laughs and hugs in!

Through DDM's LEAP Program, Make it Home has recently enabled us to get our fancy Pedigo Home ladies a new living room set!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, we were able to make this happen for our ladies! We are incredibly blessed and are excited to see what's next in our homes.

This morning, our DDM team had the privilege of worshiping with the incredible congregation at First Baptist Monroe as part of their Revive Where You Live initiative.

Pastor Todd shared a powerful message from Luke 5:17–22, reminding us of the faith and love shown by the friends who carried the paralyzed man to Jesus. Their willingness to lift up a friend in need is a beautiful picture of what it means to live out our faith in action!

At DDM, we are deeply grateful for our Friends of DDM (YOU!) Your support makes all the difference, and today's service was a wonderful reminder that we are stronger when we carry one another!

We are honored to have been selected as Monroe First Baptist Church's Missions Partner through Revive Where You Live.

Through this partnership, the church is raising funds for our Make it Home initiative, helping provide new furniture and meaningful personal touches for the gentlemen who call our Appalachee Home in Statham "home." These aren't just "things," they're investments in comfort, dignity, belonging, and a place where hope truly lives.

Thank you to everyone at Monroe First Baptist Church for the warm welcome, your generous hearts, and for choosing to stand beside our residents! We are blessed by your partnership and can't wait to see the lasting impact we'll make together!
