LAFC Power Soccer is looking for a couple more players fill our LAFC Black team roster. Our hope is to Practice and Travel together. Its a great experience for families living with disabilities. LAFC Power Soccer Club is a competitive highly ranked wheelchair soccer program. We are still working on our Fall schedule but we play in some really fun competitive tournaments starting in January.

Today is Duchenne Awareness Day!

My son James passed away in May. Although he had Duchenne, it wasn't Duchenne that actually took his life. Having Duchenne didn't help as he tried to recover from surgery from a random infection. James was very strong and stubborn when it came to this disease and he would want others to know that it was just his time to go and not Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. We miss you Buddy.

Hi Friends. James Albaugh one of the "Original Duchenne Brothers" and big inspiration for us to start the Duchenne Brothers Foundation passed away abruptly on Sunday May 24th, 2026. James was such a happy and fun loving young man. Best Son, Big Brother, Cousin, Friend, and Teammate. We love you son.
