Hey Parents

Our Raingutter Regatta boat race is coming up Saturday, August 17th. Wanted to send out a note with a little more information on the event and what to expect.

Boats are $6. Becky will be getting boats to the den leaders tonight to distribute. Please work with your den leader directly to get a boat.

The event is from 11AM to 2PM at the scout house. This will include the boat race, plus a giant slip & slide!. Please have your scout dressed appropriately for swimming/water fun.

Lunches will be provided for a fee of $5. The current plan is for hotdogs, chips, and drink.

Siblings are welcome to participate in the race as well as the slip & slide. We will hold a scouts only race, and a siblings race.

Hey Parents

Reminder that our next pack meeting tomorrow at 6:30pm is our water rocket launching event.

This will be the same thing we've done in the past where the boys build water rockets out of 2 liter soda bottles and we fill them with water and air, to launch them up. It's a fun event, and the kids really enjoy it.

For those that have not done it before the below video is a great overview of how to build a rocket. This is the general idea, and feel free to be creative with it.
