Parks and trails mean something different to everyone.
They're where family memories are made, friendships begin, and quiet moments can be found at the end of a busy day.

After reading our guest article last week, we'd love to hear from you:
What Nolensville park, trail, or green space means the most to you and why?

Seventeen years ago, Wendy Cook-Mucci's running route in Nolensville was simple: leave the house, run to the school track, and head home.

Today, that same route winds through miles of parks, greenways, and trails that have become part of her family's story.

In our first featured guest blog, longtime resident, and former Vice Mayor, Wendy Cook-Mucci reflects on how Nolensville's parks and trails helped shape family memories, friendships, and a deeper connection to community.

🦌 Baby Deer Season Is Here! 🦌

If you see a fawn alone, don’t assume it’s abandoned. Mom is usually nearby and returns several times a day to nurse.

✔️ Leave it where it is
✔️ Keep pets away
✔️ Enjoy from a distance

The best thing you can do for a baby deer is let it stay wild.

Yesterday our board spent time planning future projects, partnerships, and ways to continue supporting parks and green spaces in Nolensville. We’re excited about the ideas ahead and grateful for everyone supporting this mission.

A big thank you to Mamas Java for providing coffee and food to help keep us fueled throughout the day, and to NolenSpot for providing a place for us to meet!

As the weather warms up and summer gets closer, these swings become one of our favorite places to slow down, sit for a while, and enjoy the greenways that make our community special.

Big thanks to the Williamson County Parks and Recreation crews for repainting and refreshing the swings along our greenways today and helping keep these spaces beautiful, welcoming, and well cared for.
