Michelle’s Ray of Hope, a non-profit organization, was created in memory of our beloved Michelle Geddes Willey. Michelle unexpectedly passed away due to complications during heart surgery in August of 2013 at the young age of 34. Michelle’s life, studies, and passion were devoted to helping ch

ildren. She obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work and made a career as a dedicated social worker for at-risk children in PA and FL. She was driven by loving children and knowing that she was able to make a difference in their world...one child at a time. All funds raised for MROH will help to support her former places of employment: Child Protection Center and Manatee Children’s Services, who provide services to children with various needs in Sarasota, FL. In addition, funds will be used to assist children in need within the local community and schools in the Sarasota area.
