Just know that no shelter treats for Giardia or Coccidia - we’d like to be doing that! We may be small, but we are mighty!

Both parasites are contagious to animals and humans and left untreated long enough, can cause death for your pets.

Our Amazon Wish List has so many great supplies for the shelter pups! 🙌🏼

We urgently need PANACUR DEWORMER!

Routine dewormer will not kill Giardia or Coccidia. We want to treat everyone who comes into the shelter. Both of these are contagious to pets and people if a pet has and is not treated. Help us get ahead of the curve!

We have named this sweet baby Saguaro.

She is currently admitted to Hospital Animal, undergoing a few days of observation, bloodwork and X-rays. She will have an FHO surgery and we can save her leg once she is stable.

We need donations badly. It is going to be a fraction of the cost at our vet there, compared to our orthopedic vets in the states, but we still will be looking at at least $1,500 for all hospitalization, surgery, etc.

For those that haven’t heard what happened; Saguaro was an emergency medical plea from our friends at Santa Cruz County Animal Care & Control. She was attacked by two dogs late last night. Our team worked swiftly to get her right in. A huge shout out to Taylor, Blanca, Joanna and Stacy!

Sometimes mornings go like this…

This little one was attacked by multiple dogs, picked up by the ACOs last night at Santa Cruz County Animal Care & Control and we have the amazing Taylor picking her up and racing her to Dr. Theresa in Nogales.

We aren’t sure if we are dealing with an amputation, sepsis, internal bleeding or all of the above.

What we do know is, we need funds to save her.

We will keep everyone posted as we go!

Hello, everyone!

Welcome! 🙌🏼

We are Hope of Deliverance, Inc., a 501(c)(3) rescue who exclusively teams up with Santa Cruz County Animal Care and Control in Nogales. We have begun as sponsors for our new program, Friends of Santa Cruz County Animal Care & Control, and we are thrilled!

Our rescue has been tagging dogs from Santa Cruz CAC&C since our inception and this year, our focus has begun solely on their shelter. We have hosted a handful of great events for community outreach and more is to come!

🐈 What is our goal?

Really, it’s looking at the community and shelter, asking “how can we help?” Let us problem solve, together on how to better pet lives, lower intake and find additional ethical rescue partners to alleviate the intake of such a small, rural shelter, without veterinary staff.
