This summer we celebrated our fifth anniversary of the Anza Summer Youth Workshop!
We successfully wrapped up the four-day youth workshop in June.Our facilitators were high school andmiddle school students from the Rio Rico and Nogales school districts. They led over 20 , 7 to 11year old participants through a variety of subjects, such as Art, Music, Environment,Science, and Positive Mindset. Additionally, we welcomed a guest speaker from ADA who presented on insects, plants, and biodiversity. Overall a wonderful outdoor learning experience!
We want to give a special thanks to Jeremiah and his crew at CSL Plasmas. Thank you, your generousity allowed us to have a complimentary picnic lunch for the kids all four days!. Thank you to Santa Cruz County Fire Department for sending us one of your
Trucks to end the week with a wonderfully refreshing water fight!

Our Anza youth hosted and facilitated their last Lagunas field trip for the year, where 112 students learned about the Lagun and Marsh habitats, created art, and enjoyed a picnic.

Thank you, Downtown Academy, for a great visit and outdoor learning experience.
