This is a friendly reminder to RSVP for our Spring Family Campout at White River Campground! We want to make sure everyone has a chance to join us for this highlight of the spring season. Additional details are attached (schedule, menu, packing list, and map). Many thanks to James Richman and the camping committee for their hard work getting this awesome event ready!

Flexible Attendance Please remember that this event is designed to be flexible—you are welcome to come and go as much or as little as your schedule allows. Whether you can stay for the whole weekend or just join us for a few hours of activities, we would love to have you there! Please reach out if you want to camp overnight but need to borrow some gear.

Timing and Setup
Early Setup: The campsite (Sites C45-C48) will be available for families to arrive and set up their personal gear as early as Friday afternoon, April 24.

Pack Activities: While you can set up early, please note that official pack activities and programming will begin Saturday morning, April 25, and run through Sunday morning, April 26.

Meals: The pack will provide lunch and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. Please note that breakfast will not be provided on Saturday morning.

Where: White River Campground, 11299 E 234th St, Cicero, IN 46034.

Cost: This is a FREE event for all scouts and families, as it is covered by your pack dues.

Health Forms: Each attendee needs a completed BSA Health Form (Parts A & B). Please email these to Esther Hamilton at [email protected] once complete.

We’re looking forward to a great weekend of hiking, fishing, "Silly Safari," and our traditional campfire!

🗓️ Save the Date: May Events
As we head into the home stretch of the school year, please make sure these two important dates are on your calendar:

Saturday, May 2: Hazel Dell Spring Cleanup 10-12 am – This is our annual service project to give back to the school that hosts us. It's a great way for Scouts to earn service hours!

Saturday, May 16: Pack Graduation 1-4 pm – Join us as we celebrate all the hard work our Scouts have put in this year and watch them "bridge" to their next rank!

We have an upcoming Den Meeting this Tuesday and a need for donations for our Food Kit Service Project on November 18th.

1. Call to Action: Pledge Food or Donate Funds!
Our Food Kit Service Project is quickly approaching, and we need you to pledge to bring items to ensure every meal kit is complete.

Please take 5 minutes today to support this mission in one of two ways:
Pledge Food Items: Head to the site to see what items are still needed for our three meal kits (Tuna Casserole, Chicken & Rice, and Chili). If you plan to shop and bring physical goods, please pledge the quantity now so we can track our goals!

Donate Funds for Shortfalls: If you can't shop or prefer to fill in the gaps, financial donations are critical. Funds will be used to purchase the exact items needed to complete the kits before the assembly night.

Every pledge and donation ensures we can deliver complete, hopeful meals to Noblesville families!

2. Den Meeting Reminder: Citizenship Adventure
Don't forget about our Den Meeting this Tuesday! We will be working on a valuable Cub Scout adventure together.
What: All Dens Meeting to work on the Citizenship Adventure. We will start as a large group before breaking into individual Den meetings to complete rank-specific requirements.
When: Tuesday, November 4th, 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Where: Hazel Dell Elementary Cafeteria

Please ensure your scout attends this important meeting ready to participate!

The scout shop is moving!

Tomorrow (Thursday, October 30) is the final day the Crossroads Outfitters (Scout Shop) at the Golden-Burke Scout Center will be open before we move.

The shop will be temporarily closed during our relocation to the new office at 7340 Shadeland Station.

To avoid any disruption, families and unit leaders are encouraged to stop by tomorrow to purchase advancement and award items.
