Noblesville Diversity Coalition

Noblesville Diversity Coalition NDC exists to educate, celebrate, challenge, and inspire Noblesville to be a more welcoming and inclusive community. Be OPEN. Be RESPECTFUL. Be UNCOMFORTABLE.

NDC believes open and honest dialogue can help build a more welcoming and inclusive community. Therefore, we encourage you to comment and engage in discussions through our social media. Real understanding and connection are enhanced as we practice listening well. We ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:

Be CURIOUS. Listen with a desire to understand and learn more about others. Make

room for new knowledge and new ways of seeing and understanding. Question your assumptions and suspend judgment so you can hear different perspectives. With respect and civility, engage with others by valuing and honoring their viewpoints and experiences. Stretch your comfort zone as you encounter people with different backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. We will remove hateful comments and personal attacks.

Juneteenth is a day to celebrate freedom and honor the resilience, culture, and contributions of Black Americans.

We remember June 19, 1865, when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, finally received news of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

At NDC, we believe remembering our history helps us build a stronger community today. When people feel seen, valued, and connected, everyone benefits.

Wishing our community a meaningful and joyful Juneteenth!

Every person has a story. Every community does too.

As our nation approaches its 250th anniversary, join us for Our Stories, One Nation, a community conversation about the experiences, histories, and perspectives that help shape who we are.

Strong communities are built when people take time to listen to one another.

Come share, learn, and connect as we explore the stories that connect us.

The City of Noblesville is updating its ADA Transition Plan and is seeking input from community members. We invite individuals with disabilities, caregivers, advocates, and community members to participate in our public survey to help identify where we need to continue to make accessibility investments in Noblesville.

Take the survey here: https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/sv/a3nCpm5/CityofNoblesvilleADA

Comments and survey responses will be accepted through 4 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026.

If you require an accommodation or alternative format to participate, please contact ADA Coordinator Andrew Rodewald at 317-776-6330.

America’s story is made up of millions of individual stories.

As part of Hamilton County’s America 250 Celebration, we’re inviting our community to come together for Our Stories, One Nation, a Community Conversation exploring the experiences, histories, and hopes that connect us.

Together, we’ll reflect on questions like:

• How did your family come to be here?
• What chapter of history feels close to home?
• What do you hope future generations say about what people like us did with this moment?

Join us for an evening of thoughtful conversation, listening, and learning as we explore our shared story as a nation and community.
