Damou Christian Mission

Damou Christian Mission A mission in the Jacmel, Haiti area that is filled with the Love of Christ. We are a non-profit Christian mission in Jacmel, Haiti.

We aim to reach the people of Haiti with the love of Jesus Christ through education, feeding programs, elderly care, Medical clinic, and other outreach programs as the Lord leads. We exist to carry out Jesus' command in Matthew 28:19 - "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit". We do this by showing Jesus' love

to the people of Haiti through several important ministries. We have a church with 300+ members, we operate a school from grades K-12 with over 645 students. We provide food and shelter to those in need and we have a baby nutrition program to help mothers feed their babies through our medical clinic. We also run a Village of Hope, which is a retirement community for seniors who would otherwise have no one to care for them. Mailing address is PO Box 1891 Noblesville, IN 46061.

I think we all have been sticker-shocked more than once this last couple of years in the grocery store for bread, milk, and eggs for example. But it does not stop there it has affected us in every area of our lives. It has affected the food we buy, the clothes we wear, the gas we put in our vehicles...

Prayer warriors needed.

Rodney from Flights for Christ is all packed and ready to take down food supplies from IDES to Jacmel for our school. This is such a vital need for us. He will also be picking up Loubens and bringing him back to Indiana. Loubens has been in Haiti since November working hard in light of the current situation in Haiti.
Rodney is waiting on an approval letter from the Haitian Governement before he can leave today. We need all the prayers we can get.

If you would like a personal update on current happenings with the mission please feel free to email us at [email protected].
If you would like for Jessica and Loubens to give and update at your church please send and email with possible dates you would like them to visit.

Thank you all for you continued love and support for the mission and the Hatian people.
The news just does not cover the gravity of the situation. That is why it's vital the mission continue to reach out and be a shining light for Jesus.

Dear brothers and sisters,
We wanted to give you all an update. Loubens is currently in Haiti and has been since the middle of June to finish up the school year and handle other administrative duties. Since then Jessica found out this past Monday that her dad had been fighting with brain cancer and was only given a few weeks to live. As of today at 4 pm he passed away. Immediately when finding out the news Loubens has been trying to make it back to be with his family. It has been hard with the increase in gang violence and also the Country going to a level red to evacuate all Americans. It has made it nearly impossible for him to find a flight. Through God's grace, they have been able to find flights through the Dominican Republic. But the cost is extremely high and they need your help to get him home. The goal is to raise $2000. If you could find it in your heart to help donate you can do so through the webpage at damouhaiti.org or you can mail a check to PO Box 1891, Noblesville, IN.

The Perrin and Eugene families are in need of all of your prayers for peace and strength to get through this unexpected tragedy.
You can send cards directly to the family at 2831 W. 12th Street, Anderson, In 46011
