What is a hoop jam?

I Hoop Jam is a gathering of people who Hoop in the same place together.

What happens at a hoop jam?

At a hoop jam some people like to stand around, hoop at the waist and talk to each other. Some people like to skill share/teach others how to do stuff, and some just go to throwdown/practice.

Are hoops and music provided?

Not always. You should have a way to play your own music just in case. And if you don’t have a hoop, you should try to arrange for someone to bring one to lend you.

Are Hoop Jams fun?

Absolutely! It’s very different to Hoop with a bunch of other hoopers compared to Hooping alone. It’s a different energy. It feels bigger somehow. Not to mention that it’s a lot safer to have other “weirdos” around. Its validating. You can relax.

Mondays and Wednesdays by the Canal in Downtown Indianapolis.  Near the USS Indianapolis. The restrooms at Richard M. Fairbanks School of Health are availible to us. You can also park across Senate street from the Fairbanks Building.
