When my six-year-old son Ismaël developed a fever and his foot swelled badly, I was frightened. After a few days, the swelling burst, leaving a large wound. I brought him to our clinic, a place I could trust. The nurses welcomed him with tenderness and cleaned his wound carefully. They scheduled us to return every two days for follow-up care. Thanks to consistent appointments and quality dressing materials from generous donors, Ismaël's wound healed quickly. Today, he is pain-free and healthy. I am deeply grateful for a clinic I can depend on.

At just two months old, Judeline has already faced more challenges than many people experience in a lifetime. Recently, she was admitted to our Rescue Center along with her mother, who is also seriously ill. When Judeline arrived, she weighed only 2.7 kilograms (about 6 pounds) and was suffering fro...

Thirteen-month-old Rose Mylove arrived at our nutrition center weighing only 12 pounds 10 ounces with severe malnutrition and edema. Her parents consented to hospitalization, and her mother stayed throughout her treatment. For 39 days, our team provided comprehensive care: therapeutic milk, medications, nutrient-dense foods, and Medika Mamba. We monitored her daily, watching as the swelling decreased and her weight increased. Rose Mylove responded well to treatment. Her body strengthened. The signs of malnutrition disappeared. On day 39, she was discharged weighing 14 pounds 9 ounces, healthy and ready to go home with her family. Her recovery is a testament to dedicated care and her own resilience.

Eight-year-old Benel lives in Picasse, three hours from our clinic, with his parents and siblings. For months, painful sores covered his head with severe itching and skin rashes. His mother tried cooking oil and different ointments, but nothing helped. Then she remembered how our clinic had helped her other children. She made the long journey with Benel, hoping we could help again. At our clinic, Benel received a medical evaluation and the medications he needed, including co-trimoxazole to take twice daily. The medicines were completely free. Because of generous donors, families like Benel's can access the medications they need without cost. Your donations provide free medicines that save lives and provide healing. Today, Benel's skin is healing, and his confidence is returning. Thank you for making free medicines possible for children like Benel.

blog post: How Your Support Changed Jean-Paul’s Life

At thirteen years old, Jean-Paul was already working. Not because he wanted to, but because he had to. To support himself and pay for school, he climbed mango trees, picking the ripe fruit to sell. It was dangerous work for a child, but it was the only way he knew how to survive and stay […]

My name is Meykenley. Before, I only ate rice. That's all I wanted. One day, my mother of hope showed me a plate with millet, vegetables, and fish. She explained, "When you eat balanced food, your body becomes strong and your mind works better in school." I listened. I tried new foods. Now I understand. When I eat different foods, I feel stronger and think better in class. My mother of hope taught me that eating balanced food helps me grow healthy and strong. Thank you for helping her teach me.
