Our Spain pilgrims spent a day in Avila, visiting the medieval birthplace of St. Theresa of Avila, the first female Doctor of the Church. St. Theresa called us to be Christ's hands on Earth, and our group is striving to learn and pray for their loved ones and the people of Our Lady of Grace.

Our pilgrimage group spent a day in Zaragoza, visiting Our Lady of the Pillar, a Marian apparition that is precious to Spain. They even got to meet up with Pilar Paz, our former Hispanic Ministry Coordinator now living in Spain, and it was so wonderful to see her.

Next, the group traveled to Calaruega to have Mass at the home of St. Dominic's baptism before visiting the tomb of St. John of the Cross in Segovia. The days have been hot, full, prayerful, and filled with delicious Spanish cuisine. Keep praying for them on their journey!

We have a group of over 40 pilgrims in Spain this week! Our group started in Barcelona with a visit to the famous Sagrada Familia Basilica. From here, we will move west through Spain and into Portugal, visiting Marian shrines and homes of the Saints. They are praying for all of Our Lady of Grace on their pilgrimage!
