Congratulations to Our 2025 Officer of the Year, Detective Tracy Jones
Last month, we celebrated our 2025 awards and proudly honored Detective Tracy Jones as our Officer of the Year.

Detective Jones is an exceptional investigator who has made an impact not only within the Fishers Police Department but also among our partner agencies throughout the county. She is committed to investigating s*x crimes and pursuing justice for victims, particularly children.
Year after year, Detective Jones has been recognized by the Cherish Center for her tireless work protecting children and ensuring they receive justice. In 2025 alone, she worked 49 Cherish cases, the most in the county.

But her work goes far beyond the pursuit of justice. Detective Jones is dedicated to making sure the children she serves are cared for both physically and emotionally. The work she does requires patience, empathy, exceptional investigative skills, and an unwavering commitment to seeing cases through to the very end. Over the course of her career, she has consistently demonstrated the very best that law enforcement can offer.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Cole Biddle. Cole was a strong supporter and advocate of our Shop for Kids program, and his dedication to serving children and families in our community made a meaningful and lasting impact.

Our hearts go out to Cole’s family, friends, and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time. We join the Cicero Police Department Indiana in honoring his service and remembering the compassion he showed through his work.

Rest in peace, Cole. Your kindness and commitment will not be forgotten. 💙

The annual Shop for Kids was held on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Harbour Shores Church. Police officers from multiple departments welcomed 55 at-risk children to a party and then spent the morning at the Target store in Fishers shopping with them for gifts. In total, more $16,000 was spent and more than 50 police officers from Fishers, Sheridan, Arcadia, Cicero, State Police, Indiana DNR, and parole took place. Link in comments.

Police officers from multiple different departments spent Saturday morning at the Target store in Fishers as they shopped for holiday gifts for local children.

’Twas the night before the Shopping Extravaganza, and all through the County,
Excitement was building—no one could frown!
For this Saturday, December 6th, a magical team will appear:
Officers and children shopping for holiday cheer.

From Fishers Police Department, Sheridan Indiana Police Department, Arcadia Police Department, and Cicero Police Department Indiana too,
Plus the Indiana State Police, Indiana DNR, and Indiana State Parole—all coming through!
They’ll meet up with Hamilton County kids who deserve Christmas delight,
And shop side-by-side for a season that’s merry and bright.

Then off they will go—from Cicero to Fishers with lights and sirens ablaze,
A joyful parade weaving through winter’s cold haze.
Their destination? Target, where Santa will land in grand style—
Arriving by Indiana State Police helicopter, spreading smiles all the while!

So sorry not sorry for the noise as they pass in a flash—
We encourage you to pull over, wave, honk, and cheer as they dash!
Let’s lift up these officers and kids as they create memories that last,
Making this Christmas the brightest one yet—and the future brighter than the past.
