This week we're proud to highlight longtime board member Mark Flinchum!

🏫 Noblesville High School Class of 1983
🏀 Former Miller Basketball Player (Guard/Small Forward)
📊 Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Mark has been serving on the Miller Backers Board for 11 years, helping support student-athletes and activities across Noblesville Schools. When he's not volunteering with Miller Backers, Mark enjoys playing pickleball, reading, and tackling home improvement projects.

💬 Why did you join the Miller Backers Board?
"As an alumni of NHS, I'm passionate about giving back to NHS, which did so much to develop me for life. Noblesville is a great community, place to raise a family, and to live."

⭐ Fun Facts About Mark:
• His great-grandmother was a member of the Noblesville High School Class of 1921.
• His family includes five generations of NHS alumni.
• His son also played basketball at NHS, although, according to Mark, "he was a much better player than his father!" 🏀😄

WOW! In just one week since launching our 2026–27 membership campaign, we've already reached 35 memberships! 🎉

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has already joined Miller Backers in support of our student-athletes, coaches, and programs. Your membership helps us continue providing scholarships, funding wishlist items, supporting athletic programs, and creating opportunities for Miller students.

Every membership makes a difference, and we're excited to see our Miller community rally behind the next generation of student-athletes. 🏆

Calling All Miller Fans! 📣

As we gear up for the 2026–27 school year, we're inviting you to become a Miller Backers member and help support the traditions, programs, and student-athletes that make Noblesville great!

Thanks to the incredible support of our members, sponsors, volunteers, and concession customers during the 2025–26 school year, Miller Backers was able to:
• Fund over $100,000 in approved wishlist items for Miller athletic programs and activities
• Award 20 senior scholarships worth $750 each
• Contribute funds to sport patron accounts in appreciation of their concession support

Now it's time to build on that success for 2026–27! Choose the membership level that matches your Miller pride:

As another school year comes to a close, the Noblesville Miller Backers want to congratulate all Noblesville students, athletes, teachers, coaches, staff, and families on an incredible year.

Miller Memories 💛🖤

Today, we share a Miller Memory featuring 1984 Noblesville graduate Steve Wood. Steve played both football and wrestled during his time as a Miller.

While playing football, Steve suffered an injury that landed him in the hospital. During that difficult time, the Miller Backers stepped in to help his family by paying for half of his hospital room costs and even covering the cost of having a TV in his room during his stay.

It may seem like a small gesture today, but to Steve and his family, it meant the world. Stories like Steve’s are a reminder that the Miller Backers have always been about more than athletics, they’ve been about supporting Millers when they need it most.

Steve has since gone on to serve on the Miller Backers Board and has become a respected leader throughout the Noblesville and Hamilton County community. His story is a powerful example of how the support poured into Millers today can come full circle for generations to come.

For decades, Miller Backers have helped shape not only athletes, but leaders, families, and our entire community!

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country 🇺🇸

At Miller Backers, the Official Athletic Booster of NHS Athletics, we are grateful for the freedoms we have and the community we get to support every day because of their sacrifice. Today is about remembrance, gratitude, and respect.

From all of us, thank you to the fallen heroes and their families. ❤️
