☹❌ For sale today in Hamilton County...

Despite the efforts of conservation organizations, invasive species like burning bush and callery pear are still for sale in Indiana. It's up to us to make good choices when shopping this spring.

✅Instead of callery pear, consider Serviceberry, Eastern Redbud, Flowering Dogwood, American Plum, and Pagoda Dogwood

✅ Instead of burning bush, choose species like Red Chokeberry, Blackhaw Viburnum, or Arrowwood Viburnum.

We were just made aware of this Eagle Scout project being done by Zach Wilson. This project will help the sugar maple trees on the property. They host an annual Maple Madness festival each year in February. This will help access more trees and help them continue to produce syrup!
