Noblesville BSA Girls Troop 222 is so very lucky to have stellar volunteer leaders supporting our incredible Scouts!

April marks National Volunteer Month and volunteers make “preparing youth for life” a reality every day of the year.
Today, we showcase four stellar volunteers from Troop 222 in Noblesville, Indiana. From left to right, you can see: Annie Hilbert (Troop 222 Scoutmaster), Stuart Hilbert (Treasurer), Nora Levy and Jenny Sherrill (Scoutmaster Emeritus). Now an adult, Nora volunteers with the troop.
All Wood Badge trained, these Troop 222 volunteers have fun, put in the work and help prepare the youth of America through in the Crossroads of America Council.
“Buil[ding] on a youth-led model, these leaders bring the Scout Oath and Law to life every day,” says Troop 222 Assistant Scoutmaster, Kris Julius. “Their commitment creates an environment where Scouts are empowered to lead, grow and succeed.”
A is helpful, trustworthy, kind, friendly – our volunteers aim to model this day in and day out. As we salute Annie, Stuart, Nora and Jenny, we also want to give a shoutout to the person who provided accolades, Kris Julius, for giving back through Scouting, as well!
As he notes: “This is what Scouting is all about: Dedicated leaders building something meaningful that will last for generations.”
