It’s time for the annual CRABFEST at Spicers Marina. All kids, big and small are invited. Equipment is provided, prizes and fun. Saturday July 26, 10-12.

Even though there was a lack of sign ups, the CG auxiliary courtesy boat inspection, the guys managed to get 15 boat certified. Thanks CGA.

Congratulations to our commodore for the past 2 years. You did a great job, we will miss your leadership. We know that the new commodore, Rick,will do a great job as the new commodre. As is the tradition of the club, the outgoing commodore receives a ships bell. Congratulations.

July 20, from 10-12 is our annual Dale Williams Crabfest for ALL kids in the Marina. Crabfest will be followed by Hot Dogs and Hamburgers for staff and kids. Meet at the top of D dock. All equipment and bait is supplied. Prizes for all.

Got to crew an AmericasCup boat yesterday. I was one of two main grinders. It takes incredible amount of strength. I have a new appreciation for those guys! Oh, the boat was the Canadian challenger True North. We lost by a foot to Stars and Stripes.

WCYC had another successful visit to Mystic Seaport. Walter our tour guide incredible with his knowledge of the seaport and restoring all thes classic ships. Greg and staff at the marina was awesome.
