American Legion Nixa Memorial Post 434 Chartered in 1949, American Legion Memorial Post 434 of Nixa, Missouri happily continues our tradition of service to our country, state and community.

Meetings: Third Tuesday of the month Dinner at 6pm and meeting at 7pm. If you are currently on active duty, serving the United States Military honorably, anywhere in the world, or have served honorably between the dates April 6, 1917 - to the present, we invite you to become a member of The American Legion.

We are honored to share that the City of Nixa has officially proclaimed August as Purple Heart Month in the City of Nixa.

Members of American Legion Post 434 were proud to accept this proclamation on behalf of our Post and, most importantly, in recognition of the brave men and women who have been wounded or killed in service to our nation.

The Purple Heart represents sacrifice, courage, and a willingness to put our country before oneself. We are grateful to the City of Nixa for recognizing the significance of Purple Heart Month and for standing with our veterans and their families.

Please join us in remembering and honoring our Purple Heart recipients—not just during August, but every day. 🇺🇸💜
