When most people think of Nixa Care to Learn, they think of food bags and hygiene items.
But we do so much more.

We help Nixa students access:
🩺 Doctor appointments
🦷 Dental care
👓 Eye exams and glasses
🦻 Hearing services and equipment
🧠 Mental health services
🏠 Pest control services
💊 Prescription assistance

When a student can't see the board, hear the lesson, manage a health concern, or access needed medication, learning becomes much harder.

By meeting immediate health needs, we're helping students focus on what matters most: being kids, learning, growing, and reaching their potential. 💙

💚 Advisory Council Spotlight 💚

Meet Jared Webster, Ed.D., a member of the Care to Learn - Nixa Advisory Council.

Dr. Webster has dedicated 21 years to public education, including 19 years serving students at Nixa Public Schools. While he joined the Care to Learn - Nixa Advisory Council in the fall of 2023, he has witnessed the impact of the organization for many years.

"I appreciate the organization's heart in helping students with as little red tape as possible. I have seen the direct benefit of Care to Learn on the faces of Nixa children as they have needs met, ranging from food to clothes to medical care. This is a great organization to be a part of, with excellent leadership."

Thank you, Dr. Webster, for your commitment to Nixa students and for helping ensure their health, hunger, and hygiene needs are met so they can focus on learning. 💚

When a family is facing challenges, even a single act of support can provide comfort, relief, and hope. Thanks to our community, we're able to help meet needs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of Nixa students and their families.
