A big shoutout to our friends at Dake Wells Architecture for partnering with us to surprise Jacob Bush, who gives back to NEF through payroll deduction. We’re so grateful for the team at SCORE, Dake | Wells, and Jacob for the difference they make for our students every day! ❤️

🌟 Board Member Spotlight 🌟
It’s time for another NEF Board Member Spotlight! Get to know one of the people helping shape brighter futures for Nixa students and classrooms.

Allison Cash is a longtime supporter and Board Member of the Nixa Education Foundation. She is an advocate for public schools and a lifelong Nixa resident. As a third generation Nixa graduate and the mother to two Nixa graduates, her pride runs deep for this special place in the heart of the Ozarks. (Allison is pictured here at a recent family wedding with her family. Note that there are 9 Nixa graduates in this photo)

Allison also has a strong respect for educators. She saw her father, Wayne Glenn, as a teacher and principal before he started his radio career. His dedication and service to education were formative to Allison along with the influence of her great Aunt and Uncle, Villa Ann (school counselor) & Freman Glenn (School Board President).

NEF is important to Allison because she believes the biggest impact donors can make is supporting teachers and their efforts in the classroom. Through the grant program of NEF, teachers can be awarded funds to enhance and augment their individual classrooms and bring their unique gifts to life. NEF is also important to Allison because of the annual Gala that is held to honor teachers and staff of the Nixa school district, her most fond memories of NEF are seeing happy participants in the annual Gala.

Allison is an educator at heart, though she didn't pursue teaching her college degree is a BS Ed. She got pulled into the wide world of food and beverage sales and marketing after college and never taught but has always had a special place for all things education, especially in Nixa.

Kendal Dingus currently serves as Treasurer of the Nixa Education Foundation, where he is passionate about supporting Nixa schools and ensuring resources are available to help students and teachers thrive.

Professionally, Kendal serves as Vice President of commercial lending with Central Bank. He holds his Bachelor’s degree in accounting and is also nearing completion of the prestigious Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School of Business, where he will graduate in June 2026. Kendal takes great pride in serving the people and businesses of Nixa and the surrounding area, and he loves being part of a community that continues to grow while keeping its hometown spirit strong.

Service to the community has always been important to Kendal. He has previously served as a Nixa City Councilman, Board President and Treasurer of the Nixa Chamber of Commerce, and currently volunteers his time with organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, various City of Nixa Commissions, and Nixa Public Schools legislative committee.

Kendal’s love for education runs deep at home as well—his wife, Lindsay, is an educator with Nixa Public Schools, and together they have two boys who are proud to be Nixa Eagles.

When he’s not working or volunteering, Kendal enjoys traveling with his family, spending time outdoors, woodworking, and tackling Pinterest-inspired projects for Lindsay.

The Nixa Education Foundation is grateful for Kendal’s leadership, service, and continued dedication to our schools and community.
