I miss you, your laugh, and the time we used to spend together whether in person, over the phone or during the holidays.

You send me signs that you're always near like the white feather on my driver's side window late yesterday.

I wish my sister Katie’s bilateral pulmonary embolism was caught prior to her passing. People “NEED” to start “LISTENING” more than they talk. Katie went to a specialist in February of 2009 and 3 other Dr’s appointments prior to her death. How many times does someone have to say they’re really hurting for someone to listen?? 💔

The patient twice went to Lowell General complaining of pain, but his blood clot was misdiagnosed as sciatica.

I received this email regarding Katie's Story.

I just wanted you to know that I am going to carry on Katie's story at the end of October w/ your permission. I am a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist in Louisiana and I have a talk to give on thrombosis in pregnancy and came across Katie's story and your page. It is my intention to use her images and story to make it "real" for some OB/GYNs that I have to lecture to.... One goal for this will be for them to consider that thrombosis is a real possibility and the consequences when warning signs aren't heeded.

My thoughts are w/ you and your family as well as my prayers.
