Last day of Give What You Can membership month 💚🐌

Slow Food is about moments like these, gathering around the table, learning together, sharing a meal, and building community through food. When you become a member, you help financially support over 40 volunteer-powered chapters across the U.S., fund school garden programs in dozens of communities, distribute hundreds of Plant a Seed kits filled with rare heirloom seeds, and protect the stories and legacies of Indigenous and endangered foods through the Ark of Taste. Your membership also helps sustain a small but mighty national team that connects local chapters to the larger international Slow Food movement for change.

Members receive perks too, including discounts on Slow Food USA merchandise, virtual conferences, local and regional events, partner promos, chapter updates, and a limited-edition gift at the end of the year. Most importantly, you become part of a community rooted in food that is good, clean, and fair for all.

Join today on the final day through the link in our story and celebrate with us. Cheers to good food, strong communities, and a better food future. 🥂🌱

Such a great turnout at .farm 🌱

It was amazing to see so many people come together to celebrate spring, connect with the land, and spend the day in community. From farm tours to hands on activities, it was a fun and meaningful day for all ages.

One of our favorite moments was seeing kids create and name their own bean and seed necklaces, such a simple and fun way to engage with food and where it comes from.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring this day to life and to everyone who showed up and made it so special.

Spring is here 🌱 and with it comes a fresh season of growth, connection, and abundance.

Today, we’re celebrating the farmers, ranchers, and stewards of the land who make it all possible. From early mornings in the fields to late nights preparing for market, your care and dedication nourish our community in more ways than one.

As the days get longer and the soil begins to warm, we’re reminded that every season is a chance to reconnect - with our food, our land, and each other.

And to our community: thank you for showing up. For supporting local farms, choosing seasonal, and investing in a food system rooted in care, equity, and resilience.

Here’s to new beginnings, vibrant harvests, and a season full of good, clean, and fair food 🌸

🌱 Our final Community CSA Fair of the season is coming up!

If you haven’t signed up for a CSA share yet, this is the perfect chance to find the right one for you.

Come meet Boulder County farmers, learn about their farms, and explore the different CSA options available this season.

Not sure what to look for in a CSA? When you’re deciding, it can help to ask about things like:
• different share sizes and what they include
• what types of produce and add-ons are offered throughout the season
• pickup locations and schedules
• options for families, smaller households, or flexible shares
• affordability programs like payment plans or EBT/SNAP

Our slides share some helpful questions you can use when talking with farmers 👩‍🌾

📍 Pioneer Elementary School - Lafayette
📅 Sunday, March 29
⏰ 11am–2pm
🎟 Free

Come connect with local farmers and find the CSA that fits your household.
