We are extremely excited to announce our next pre apprenticeship beginning on July 29th and ending on August 23rd for Locals 226 and 437 in East Tennessee for industrial painters. In partnership with Cleveland State Community College, individuals will be fully covered by WIOA funding to join this program, as long as they meet with their local American Job Center at least two weeks prior to the start date.

Students will earn the following industry certifications: OSHA 10, CPR and First Aid, Aerial Lifts (MEWP), Fall Protection Awareness, and Lead Awareness. They will also receive all PPE, receive a paid stipend and new work boots.

Opportunities to:
● Build one-on-one relationships with workers
● Work with existing and potential union members in developing a worker organizing committee
● Regularly engages contractors, engineers, architects and end-users in order to strengthen the IUPAT presence in the market and maintain labor standards

Salary and benefits:
Salary is competitive. Health and vision coverage provided, paid personal time off as well as sick time.
