Thrive Ninilchik is proud to support Ninilchik FFA members as they recently traveled to the National FFA competition to represent the state of Alaska in Floriculture. Our team brought home the bronze plaque for the event and team member Sophia VanKeuren earned the silver medal for her individual high scores. Along with competing, our students participated in local business tours, workshops with FFA members from across the nation, visited the Indianapolis Zoo, took in a concert and a rodeo, plus much more! Thank you to all who believed in our team - NTC Youth Outreach, Ninilchik Thrive, Ninilchik Family Dentistry and the community members who have supported our various fundraisers during the past year.
Ninilchik FFA chapter members are currently back home and preparing for our district meet scheduled for February 21st, 2026. We will be preparing resumes and doing mock job interviews as well as giving senior chapter members the chance to mentor junior members by sharing workshops focused on entreprenuership and business management skills.

Thank you to Revolution for not only Sponsoring the Soldotna Al Howard Tournament but helping our team through The Great Salmon Run Fundraiser. We appreciate your support on and off the court! Funds raised during the annual run support our team by ‘Evening the playing field’ with nutritional support, camp fees, shoes as needed etc. so all youth can participate!

Thrive Ninilchik was proud to be a part of our very first scholarship in honor of the Barbee family. The legacy of giving from those who have lead us with strong values in practicality, hard work, and the love of learning. Adelyn was our only applicant this past year so we look forward to advertising this great opportunity! The Thrive Ninilchik-Barbee scholarship is $1,000 and can be renewed annually as qualifications are met. What was the most delicious, perfectly presented and satisfying food at Salmonfest? BUBBLE WRAPS!!!! Our local Dr Z**i along with vigorous volunteers made this year’s booth so successful. All proceeds support Thrive and our mission. HUGE shout out to Sydney and Gigi Zoubek, Paul Holmgaard, Emily Oskolkoff, Jenny Ratky, and Stephani Zanati. Your service to our community is appreciated!
