All family and friends are welcome to attend our final run through performance of our show on the last day of camp this week. That will be on Friday at 4:45 pm.

Band camp is upon us!
This week Aug 4-8 (M-F) 8am to 5 pm each day. Lunch provided. We are going to get so much done! We need full attendance and participation.
Remember to bring a light jacket/hoodie for cold mornings but wear LIGHT clothing. Tennis shoes, sunglasses/hats and water! An extra pair of socks can be nice too if the grass is wet in the morning.
Spirit days for band camp (optional, but let's make it fun)
Monday: Tropical (tye-dye/Hawaiian)
Tuesday: Twin Day
Wednesday: "Anything but" (do morning basics with something weird like a snowshovel instead of a flag for guard...)
Thursday: "White Lies"-we provide white t-shirts and you write something on them
Friday: Section colors- Flutes=purple, clarinets=blue, altos=green, trumpets=orange, low brass=red, drumline=yellow, guard=pink

Pre-Band Camp week!!!
tomorrow (Wed 7/30) AND Thurs (7/31)
8-noon at the high school. Please note that these 2 days are NOT 8-11am like earlier in the summer.

Full band camp next week, Aug 4-8 8am-5pm.

This is exciting, we are now going to be putting the pieces together. Wednesday we will focus on playing exercises while marching and learning how to read and set drill. On Thursday we will work on the pregame drill. We will also make some time for sectionals, particularly if we have to move inside due to weather.

As before, please remember to wear LIGHT clothing (in weight AND color). Remember to wear comfortable shoes, NOT sandals/crocs. Bring water, sunglasses and hats.

Attendance is CRITICALLY important this week and next. What we will work on will be hard to catch up for absent individuals and missing members will make it harder for the rest of the section to learn drill.

Alright Vikings, time for another Thursday practice!
Tomorrow (7/24) 8-11 am. It's going to be hot, but we will only be outside for the first part of rehearsal. Still, please dress light and bring water. Sunglasses and hats very recommended. Comfortable shoes!
Pre-band camp next week, Wed and Thurs 8-noon, then Band camp Aug 4-8 8-5pm.

Calling all artists!
Does anyone want to take a shot at designing our band shirt for this year? We can consider designs drawn by hand, digitally or even with ai help, although it's best NOT to include any copyrighted logos.
Relevant information (all or some may be included in the design):
Show name: "Top Secret"
Songs included: Mission: Impossible, James Bond, Soul Bossa Nova (from Austin Powers), The Pink Panther Theme (from the old tv show or reference to the cartoon Pink Panther)
