BSA Troop 579 of Niles, MI Troop 579 meets every Monday evening from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm and participates in monthly camping or other outdoor activities.

As a unit of Boy Scouts of America, Troop 579 in Niles Michigan stands for positive character development and leadership training rooted in the Scout Oath and Law. We are also proud to support the residents and businesses of the greater Niles MI area through our:

- Support of The Niles Apple Festival and Apple Festival Youth Day
- Conservation recycling drives
- The Fort St. Joseph Archaeology Project
- Honor Guard that participates in flag ceremonies and parades
