Approximately 120 people attended our rainbow walk and picnic despite the 5000 degree heat. We’ll be sharing more photos coming up. I appreciate you all and thank you so much for your support building this community!

We’re expecting warm weather tomorrow, so please dress for summer heat.
The forecast is low 90s with lots of wind.
We will have extra water available.
Feel free to bring neck fans, cooling towels, spray bottles, or anything you’d find helpful.
The park is in the shade, but the walk along streets will be sunnier. It’s easy to return to the park halfway if needed.

Tierra Whetstone is a local musician and conductor who has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Thompson Street Opera Company, and many others. We’re delighted to have her share her unique experiences with our community this Pride.

We’re creaking into gear over here. We have a lot of exciting new guests joining us this year to speak and perform and we can’t wait to start sharing them all with you. First is our longtime partners, Samcha Chicago and the Hana Center, who have helped build our event into the community celebration it is from the beginning.
