This kid walked more than 3 miles to get to work this morning.

Tonight, thanks to the incredible generosity of the Pullin family, he’s driving home. ❤️

But this isn’t just a story about a car.

When he first came to the farm, he was struggling in school and failing all of his classes. Somewhere along the way, the farm became a place where he could show up, learn, work, make mistakes, try again, and start believing in himself.

We watched him go from a kid who was struggling to a graduate.
We watched him learn to drive.
We watched him earn his license.
We watched him land a living-wage job.

And this morning, he walked three miles to get there because he didn’t have a car.

So when the Pullin family offered us their extra vehicle, we knew exactly where it needed to go.

Tonight, after a quick stick-shift lesson 😅, he’s driving himself home.

A donated car might look like a simple gift, but to a young person just starting out, it can mean independence, opportunity, reliability, and a whole lot of “I can do this.”

This is exactly why we believe in Farm to Future.

Sometimes you plant a seed, you nurture it, and eventually you get to watch someone take off on their own.

Thank you, Pullin family, for giving this kid a set of wheels and a little more room to chase his future. ❤️❤️
