I know it’s cliche, and I’ve been thinking about this all day, but there are literally NO WORDS to describe the feelings I have today.
Yesterday was just phenomenal. We had 158 participants in the 4K, 30+ bikes in our motorcycle run, 2 absolutely amazing bands and hundreds of people in attendance doing their best to “Take A Load Off Stacy.”
I did not say much at the event because I knew I wouldn’t make it through any speeches. But, the truth is… knowing of the magnitude in which cancer changes your life and then seeing your sister experience it too, it’s hard to put any of those feelings/experiences into meaningful words.
Those words as simply spoken as possible: I love my sister with all my heart. I love my family with everything I have. I love our community, because there is nothing like living where we do because everyone has each other’s back. I’m humbled by everyone who spent their time and/or money making yesterday happen. I believe in the power of prayer and faith beyond all things. We saw a beautiful rainbow yesterday as a sign of hope!! And, I absolutely hate cancer. 💕
💕💕💕 THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR EVERYTHING WE WERE ABLE TO DO YESTERDAY. IT TRULY IS A LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE!!! 💕💕💕
