The members of the Nichols Volunteer Fire Department extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Dalton. Our hearts are with them during this unimaginable loss. We are grateful to the agencies, volunteers, and community members who assisted in the search efforts and who stood together in support of the family. Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we ask the community to keep them in their thoughts and allow them space to grieve.

State police and members of the Nichols Fire Department located the body of an 18-year-old, that was reported missing since May 9th.

New York State Police say a missing teenager from Tioga County has been found deceased.
