Member passes were mailed out this week, so anyone who has made a member-level donation since June 8, 2025 should receive a pass in the mail soon. Sawyer has his cheek pouches full of snacks to save for later!
Monkey cheek pouches, primarily found in Old World monkeys, use elastic skin pouches in their mouths to rapidly collect, store, and transport food. This adaptation allows them to forage quickly in the open, avoid predators, and eat safely in a secure location.
Sawyer may not have any predators to watch out for, but he does have a younger sister, Jane, who will sn**ch up forage items quickly if he doesn't get to them first!
