A Message from the E-Board of the Niceville Chapter of Emerald Coast Professional Firefighters
As we reflect on the year, the E-board of the Niceville Chapter of the Emerald Coast Professional Firefighters would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to the dedicated CBA members of the Niceville Fire Department.
To our CBA shift work members – Thank you for your unwavering commitment. Some / most / all of us spend the holidays with our brothers and sisters at the fire department away from our family at home.
We work long hours and some have been in advanced training like paramedic school to enhance the services we provide, your dedication does not go unnoticed.
Did you know that a firefighter spends about a third of their life away from home and family? That’s not including the overtime that some of us choose to pick up. Sometimes we spend sleepless nights responding to emergencies and calls that stay with us long after the shift ends. But who do we do it for? We do it for the community we love and serve.
To the citizens of Niceville – thank you for trusting us to be there when you need us most. Your support is the foundation of everything we do.
We believe all of our Union members deserve Firefighter of the year. This includes the two amazing irreplaceable members that have been fired by our own leadership… may there please be light at the end of the tunnel for you and your families soon.
