It’s with much sadness that we pass along the news that George A. Boyce, AF EOD MasterBaster Lifetime Charter (LC) -393 left us for a far greater future on Friday morning, August 22, 2025. George was a long time member of the MasterBlasters joining at its inception in April 1992. He will be greatly missed by not only his family, but the EOD community. Please keep the family in your thoughts in prayers.

It's with great sadness and a heavy heart we share Oscar K. Pierce passed 20 April 2025. Oscar was a lifetime member of the EOD MasterBlasters and a regular attender at both the 3rd Creek Gathering outside Malad City ID and the EOD MasterBlasters Reunion in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Regrettably, the 3rd Creek Gathering team has decided not to host the event for 2025. Much thought and prayer went into their decision. They know how disappointed everyone will be, but with scheduling conflicts, work, family commitments, and the fact many regulars are going to pass this year, they felt it was best to take a break and stand down for a year. We look forward to getting back together June 12-14, 2026. We hope and pray you understand.

Passing of Stephen D. "Bo" Brown, EOD Masterblaster Lifetime Charter LC-180.
One of the unpleasant duties as your secretary is passing along the loss of yet another fine man and EOD technician. "Bo" passed last night at 8:30 of complications from a stroke he had a week ago. He asked Christina to take him home and not to the local Care Center after the stroke.

Christina did tell Georg Cole that there would be a Memorial Service, but plans are still in the making. As soon as we know more we will share the details. In the meantime, if you'd like to send cards, flowers, etc, please send them to:

FYSA - Those that know Kenny Bowen, he was in a vehicle accident and broke two vertebrae. He underwent successful surgery and remains in the hospital and is improving. Kenny is in Cumberland WI and the family is rotating support duties. He'll be there for a while yet. Please keep Kenny in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy and pain free recovery.

It's with great sadness and a heavy heart we need to share that Capt (ret) Robert M. Printy, MasterBlaster R-434, passed away in a car accident on 8 Nov 24. His obituary can be viewed at: https://www.harpermorrismemorialchapel.com/obituary/capt-robert-printy-usaf-ret
Visitation will be held 11:30am until a Funeral Mass to begin at 12:30pm Monday, December 9, 2024, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 3131 Hyde Park Rd. Pensacola, FL. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL with full military honors.

Please remember Bob's family, especially his wife Sheila and son Joseph in your thoughts and prayers. He will be sorely missed.

Robert Michael Printy Mike to some, Bob to others, 69, a resident of Crestview, FL passed away suddenly on Friday, November 8, 2024. Robert Michael was born September 3, 1955, at Mountain Home Air Force Base, ID, the eldest child and son of Robert Davis and Irene Lillian Printy. Robert
