Small hands can do big things for our community!! 🍑🍍🍎🍐🍑🍍🍎🍐🍑

Recently, the children who attended Vacation Bible School at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church collected and donated a MOUNTAIN of canned fruit for the food pantry at Niceville Catholic Outreach!

But…hidden among the fruit cocktail, peaches, pears, and applesauce was something even sweeter than fruit:

Charity ❤️

Charity is LOVE IN ACTION.

In Catholic teaching, Charity (love) is one of the 12 fruits of the Holy Spirit (see what we did there?? 😜). Charity encompasses our love for God and our neighbor and is seeing a need and responding with a generous heart.

💙Thank you to all of our young donors and their families for bearing such beautiful fruit, and for helping us share God’s love with those in our Niceville community who need it most.💙

What a pleasure it was partnering with Niceville high schooler Eli, who recently donated 18 bikes to our organization that he refurbished himself as part of his Eagle Scout project! 🚲🚲🚲🚲

Our EDGE and Life Teen youth are collecting cake mixes for Niceville Catholic Outreach!

These simple donations help bring a little joy and celebration to families in need throughout our community. A birthday cake can make a child feel remembered, loved, and special.

We invite our parish family to join our teens in this act of kindness by donating items listed in the flyer. Donations can be brought to the parish office or designated collection area.

Thank you for helping our young people live their faith through service and for supporting our neighbors in need.
